adidas to Use Only Recycle Plastics by 2024 July 16, 2018 Eco, Fashion adidas continues to set the trend in the world of footwear and fashion as they announced yesterday via Financial Times that they intend to move their entire product line both in-store and online to all recycled plastics by 2024. Beyond that, all packaging, tagging and branding will also feature recycled plastics. The German-founded footwear giant is implementing this strategy immediately in their offices, removing all virgin plastic from the workspace before the year is over. adidas’ collaboration with Parley is gaining steam as well, with a projection of 5 million pairs sold this year, compared to 1 million in 2017. The adidas x Parley collaboration has been a huge hit, and this new announcement means a heavy shift toward a full Parley line soon we think. Parley Yeezy’s coming soon? Parley Human Races? Only time will tell. In the mean time, adidas continues to impress and help keep the globe spinning.
