The frontman for Tesla is not wasting any time this year to bring his groundbreaking vehicle and energy company to a whole new level.

It has been a busy month thus far for the Tesla group. Already in January, they have begun production on battery cells, which will be used to power Tesla’s energy storage products, as well as the upcoming new vehicle, the Model 3. Additionally, Elon Musk announced today via Twitter that Tesla plans to transition all of their vehicles from Enhanced Autopilot to Fully Self-Driving in “3 months maybe, 6 months definitely.”

This would mean that all Tesla owners would be full autonomous functioning in their vehicles before the year ended. Not only would this be the first vehicles on the road with full functioning self-driving capabilities, it would mean that Tesla is moving way ahead of schedule from their original projections in this department. That means that everything may be moving forward more swiftly as well. What a time to be alive.
